In the summer of 2008, Manfred Bleffert will offer art courses in California for the first time.

This innovative artistic work will serve as a vehicle for developing new experiences of the world and one's own humanity. Through contemplative work, participants will gain deeper insights into the processes and products of the arts. Each course will be a transformative experience!

In this course, Manfred will select themes, such as elements of the human being, gestures and qualities of nature or the representation of meditative contemplations. Through work with color and form, Manfred will lead participants toward the essence of the themes. The artistic expressions will reflect new understanding developed through contemplative work. In this context, artistic work serves as a vehicle for developing new understanding of the world and one's humanity.
